Upcoming funding opportunity: CIHR-Global Alliance for Chronic Disease funding call

This funding opportunity is now available on ResearchNet.

The Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR) and the International Development Research Centre (IDRC) are partnering on the eighth Global Alliance for Chronic Diseases (GACD) research funding call: Implementation research targeting non-communicable disease risk factors associated with city environments.

This GACD funding call will focus on implementation research that lead to improved understanding of how specific interventions – that reduce the risk of non-communicable disease  onset or progression - can be better adapted to different city environments and/or scaled within and across cities, particularly in low- and middle-income countries or vulnerable populations within high-income countries.
