Reimagining Acute Care Initiative
Better care for better health
Led by the CIHR Institute of Circulatory and Respiratory Health (ICRH), the Reimagining Acute Care Initiative focuses on improving the care continuum (pre-acute, acute, and post-acute) across the lifespan. This initiative is part of ICRH’s Canada’s Acute Care (CAre) strategy detailed in its 2024-2034 Institute Research Priority Plan. By promoting interdisciplinary research that integrates knowledge from diverse research fields and disciplines, ICRH aims to enable timely interventions and improve health outcomes for Canadians.
