CIHR Institute of Gender and Health 2024 Summer Institute in Sex and Gender+ Science

The overarching goal of the CIHR Institute of Gender and Health (IGH) Summer Institute is to convene trainees with researchers and community partners to build research capacity and excellence in sex, gender+ and health research across the four pillars of health sciences research.

The theme for the 2024 Summer Institute is methods and measures in sex and gender+ science in health research.

In addition to providing advanced inter-disciplinary training to trainees from across Canada, the 2024 IGH Summer Institute will also offer an opportunity to have exposure to, learn from and network with leaders in sex, gender+ and health research.

The intensive capacity-building formal program takes place from June 9-14, 2024 on the unceded, ancestral and traditional territories of the Musqueam, Squamish and Tsleil-Waututh Nations in Vancouver, British Columbia.

Trainees attending this program are supported by IGH Travel Awards.
