Results – 2024 Catalyst Grant: Analysis of Canadian Longitudinal Study on Aging (CLSA) Data

The Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR) are pleased to share the funding decision for the 2024 Catalyst Grant: Analysis of CLSA Data.

This Funding Opportunity (FO) was launched, under the leadership of the CIHR Institutes of Aging (IA) and Population and Public Health (IPPH), to raise awareness around the availability of CLSA data as new data releases are completed, as well as to catalyze and support the research of Canadian researchers using available CLSA data across all four health research themes.

With the support of our partners, a total of 30 projects (outlined below) were funded for a total investment of over $2.1M.

We thank all partners:

The CIHR Institutes of Circulatory and Respiratory Health (ICRH), Musculoskeletal Health and Arthritis (IMHA), Nutrition, Metabolism and Diabetes (INMD), the Brain Health and Cognitive Impairment in Aging (BHCIA) Research Initiative, Canada's Strategy for Patient Oriented Research (SPOR) and the Quebec Network for Research on Aging (RQRV, in French only).
