Indigenous Health Research

CIHR strives to build respectful and meaningful relationships with First Nations, Inuit and Métis Peoples, including Urban Indigenous communities, through the establishment of research environments that are socially, spiritually, emotionally and physically safe. We would like to thank the Indigenous Elders, community members, and researchers for continuously engaging with CIHR to further strengthen Indigenous health research in Canada.
