Pathways to Health Equity for Aboriginal Peoples: Components
Several different ways to fund Pathways work have been set up to engage First Nations, Inuit, and Métis communities and researchers. Because the health issues and the factors that determine the four priority areas are so closely linked, a mix of different and complementary skills and knowledge is required.
To this end, CIHR will fund:
- Implementation research teams
- Research and training chairs
- Partners for engagement and knowledge exchange
- Population health intervention research
- Pathways Global
